Pastor Damon Juarez
My name is Damon Juarez, a life long resident to the Coachella Valley, a youth minister and teacher in the East Valley. Married for over 30 years, father, and grandfather. A thankful servant, saved in 1993 and called in 1999.
Pastor Fernando Curiel
My name is Fernando Curiel, I have served at The Fountain of Living Water Christian Church in Indio, California for 34 years, focusing on Children's and Youth Ministries. I'm committed to sharing God's Word and inspiring others to follow Christ. For over 20 years, I have worked alongside Pastor Damon Juarez at CV Parsonage, encouraging students at local schools, helping them explore the Word of God and witness God's work in their lives.
Pastor Uriel Silva
A Pastor at Las Palmas community Church since 2006. I’ve been called to serve the Bible clubs in the Coachella Valley since 2008. I enjoy sharing the word of God to students and and to see the Holy Spirit in empower them to be more like Jesus Christ.
Pastor Cheyla Higareda
My name is Cheyla Higareda, a lifelong resident of the Coachella Valley. I grew up in the church and have served the Lord since my youth, which laid the foundation for my passion for ministry. For over 12+ years, I've had the privilege of serving as the youth leader at Christ Is Salvation Church, where I've been blessed to mentor and walk alongside young people in their faith journeys. I'm passionate about reading, traveling, hiking, and most of all serving others.
OUR BELIEFS
We believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God.
(2 Timothy 3:16-17)
There is One living and true God eternally, existing in three Persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
equal in power and glory. This triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.
(Gen. 1:1, Deut. 6:4, Isaiah 44:8, 48:16, Matt. 28:19-20, John 10:30, Heb. 1:3).
Salvation is a Holy work of God’s free grace. One is saved through faith in Jesus Christ. Jesus’ substitutionary death and resurrection are the only means of salvation. Only those who have faith, received Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord are forgiven.
(John 1:12-13, Acts 4:12, 16:30-31, Romans 5:8, Eph. 2:8-10)
In the person of the Holy Spirit who came from the Father and Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. To regenerate, sanctify, empower, for ministry all who believe in Christ. We are called to be filled with the Holy Spirit which occurs at the moment of Salvation. We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit in regard to the exercise of all Biblical gifts of the Holy Spirit according to the instructions given to us.
(Acts 1:8, John 16:8-11).
